FY2025 NSGP Grant (CLOSED) - Applications closed on December 15th 2025 at 11:59 PM

FEMA has released the following information regarding the FY2025 NSGP Grant.

FEMA ADVISORY (Released May 8th, 2026)
FEMA Finalizing Fiscal 2025 Nonprofit Security Grant Program Subawards

Unfortunately, the Fiscal Year 2025 NSGP subawards were severely delayed by multiple funding lapses that impacted FEMA operations — totaling 120 days shut down this fiscal year. Now that funding has been restored, FEMA staff are diligently reviewing all submitted subapplications and expect to issue subawards soon. We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of all applicants and stakeholders.

FEMA expects to publish the Fiscal Year 2026 NSGP funding opportunity over the summer. Deadlines set by State Administrative Agencies for subapplicants to apply may differ from overall application deadlines set by FEMA. After the funding opportunity is published, FEMA will also host webinars to provide guidance on eligibility, application requirements and best practices. Eligible applicants should take advantage of these webinars to submit the strongest possible application to their State Administrative Agency.

We will update this page when we receive notice of FY2026 funding opportunities.
