MaineDOT invites and encourages the public to participate in the public meeting process for Route 1 improvement Project in Lincolnville and Northport. Members of the public are encouraged to view the project presentation online. MaineDOT will also be presenting at a Selectboard Meeting.
The purpose of the project is to reconstruct Route 1 in Lincolnville beginning at the Camden Town Line extending north 2.38 miles and in Lincolnville and Northport beginning at Carver Lane and extending northeast 1.99 miles.
An online virtual public meeting will be available during the formal public comment period. The virtual meeting can be viewed at any time beginning September 14, 2026, through September 30, 2026, and will allow the public to submit online comments and questions, which will be answered by MaineDOT staff.
Questions, comments, or inquiries may be submitted during the in-person public meeting, through the online virtual meeting, or directed to the Senior Project Manager listed below.
