Updated Breast and Cervical Codes & Rates
Effective July 1, 2026, in coordination with the National Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program and the Centers for Medicaid Services (CMS), the Maine Breast and Cervical Health Program (MBCHP) updated the breast and cervical codes and rates.
The updated MBCHP approved code and rate list and MBCHP approved diagnosis code list are available on the MaineCare Provider Resource webpage. Providers must be participating with MBCHP to be eligible for reimbursement.
Claims with dates of service beginning July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, must be reconciled by September 1, 2026.
