Section 55, Laboratory Services: Rate Determination Initiation Notice
The Department initiated a Rate Determination Process* for MaineCare Benefits Manual Chapter II, Section 55: Laboratory Services. Reimbursement rates are determined pursuant to P.L. 2025, Ch. 388, which intends to bring parity and consistency across these services by benchmarking reimbursement to 72.4% of Maine Medicare. The Department will conduct this rate determination process in accordance with Maine statute.
A follow up notice with opportunities for members of the public and interested parties to participate by providing feedback and comments is forthcoming.
