Section 43, Hospice Services: Kickoff & Draft Rates Forum, Presented Materials and Comment Deadline

On February 12, 2026, the Office of MaineCare Services (OMS) held a virtual public kickoff meeting for interested parties of hospice services. At this meeting, MaineCare reviewed project goals, a timeline for the *rate determination process, and presented draft rates with rationale and policy revisions under consideration for public comment.

The PowerPoint presentation and a transcript of the meeting are posted on our Rate System Reform webpage. The audio-visual recording does not exist due to technical errors.

OMS will accept written comments through February 26, 2026. The Department will then summarize all comments and respond in writing with an explanation of whether and how the feedback was incorporated into the final rate determination.

As providers and interested parties, your feedback is important. We encourage your participation.
