Elaine Clark was named Commissioner of the Maine Department of Administration and Financial Services in 2026. She is a former practicing attorney with over 28 years in State service, including eight years Director of the Bureau of General Services at DAFS. She served also served as Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration at the University of Maine for six years, before returning as BGS Director in 2019 and becoming Deputy Commissioner of Operations in 2020.
